The technology to spray and clean the molds
The strength of the technology is to be able to apply uniformly the minimum quantity of release agent at the maximum possible percentage of high-solid.
What is the main purpose of the rotating brush?
The rotating brush is applied after and together with the release agent.
The main purposes are:
- Distributing uniformly the release.
- Taking out the excess of release with a mechanical action that prevents the mold from becoming dirty.
- Reaching the undercuts that cannot be reached by spraying, thanks to the action of the brush rotating hair.
Which type of release can be sprayed with the spray-guns?
We can spray all type of release: ready to use, high solid, water based, wax based, etc.
How much is the maximum percentage of high-solid that can be sprayed with AUTEC technology? What would be the benefits of increasing the percentage of high-solid (for example passing from 3% to 30%)?
We have some customers spraying even 100% of high-solid.
Passing from 3% to 30% of high-solid, it leads to:
- Reduction by 10 times of release consumption;
- Reduction by 10 times of of pollution emission into air;
- Reduction of risk for the health of the operator;
- Reduction by 10 times of the dedicated area for stocking solvent-based release;
- Increase of the life for the molds without cleaning (The less is the solvent that goes onto the mold, the less the mold becomes dirty).

Why should I consider the necessity of introducing AUTEC technology of Spraying and Cleaning?
- Possibility of using a release agent with a higher percentage of high-solid. (Applying manually the release agent this possibility is precluded).
- Remarkable reduction of consumption.
- Remarkable reduction of defects / rejects.
- Longer life of mold without cleaning.
- Possibility of making comparison among different supplier of release agent because the test does not rely on the skill of the operator.
- Remarkable reduction of pollution.
- Marketing benefits in stating that your product is CFC free (this is a global trend).
According to the experience of some customer of yours, how long is the average payback of the release plant?
Most of the payback does not rely on substituting the operator.
We have customer introducing this technology even in countries with very low labor cost or, even worse, they already had and automatic plant for applying the release. The main payback comes from: Reduced consumption, Reduced rejects, Longer life of mold without cleaning, Etc.
We have report from customer that substituted other robotics plant with one of ours that says that the payback is less than one year (0,8 of year).
